On December 15, 2024, the intelligent production line machinery and equipment upgrade project of Xiongcheng Ceramics Co., Ltd. in Beiliu City, Guangxi, was officially put into operation. As one of the projects funded by the autonomous region in the field of new industrialization in 2024, this initiative marks a critical step in the transformation of Beiliu's ceramic production from labor-intensive to automated and intelligent operations. On the same day, the company invited over 30 clients and partners from Guangdong, Hunan, Guangxi, and other regions to observe the upgraded molding workshop. The high-speed operation of intelligent equipment, such as fully automatic CNC roll-forming production lines, automatic glazing machines, and CNC carving machines, drew repeated admiration from the attendees.
It is reported that Xiongcheng Ceramics initiated the upgrade project in December 2023, with a total investment of 35 million yuan, comprehensively upgrading the original 10 production lines in two molding workshops. By introducing advanced machinery and equipment and optimizing production processes, the company has achieved fully mechanized production in raw material preparation and press molding. Robotic arms have replaced traditional manual operations, and an automatic monitoring system has been configured to create a digital workshop. The project has yielded remarkable results after implementation: not only has it reduced labor requirements by 70%, addressing the industry's recruitment challenges, but it has also achieved a 30% reduction in costs, a 32.5% increase in output, a 99.8% decrease in environmental pollution emissions, and a 22% reduction in energy consumption. Furthermore, the product excellence rate has improved to 98.6%. Huang Guangcai, a merchant with years of experience in ceramic product trade, commented, "This represents a qualitative leap for Beiliu ceramics and sets an exemplary model for the industry."
