In recent years, China's daily-use ceramics industry has been breaking through traditional industrial boundaries and accelerating cross-border integration and development. Collaborative innovation among industry, academia, and research, along with the diversified "Ceramics & Glass+" business models, has become a core pathway to expanding the industry's growth space. In Guangxi's major ceramic production areas, cooperation between enterprises, universities, and research institutions has grown increasingly close. Cross-border integration models such as cultural creativity, cultural tourism experiences, and industrial tourism continue to emerge, injecting new growth vitality into the industry. In terms of industry-academia-research collaboration, several enterprises have achieved dual breakthroughs in design and technology through partnerships with universities. For instance, Zibo Guiyuan Ceramics collaborated with the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, to launch the "Elegance in Nature" new product series, integrating Eastern landscape and humanistic imagery into modern living scenarios and achieving a contemporary expression of traditional cultural elements. Similarly, enterprises in Guangxi have collaborated on technological research and development to overcome innovative techniques such as combining ceramics with silicone. This collaborative model not only enhances the design appeal and technological sophistication of products but also aligns more precisely with the demands of younger consumer groups, driving the transformation of products from "practical" to "emotional" and "cultural" upgrades.

In terms of business model integration, "Ceramics & Glass + Cultural Tourism" has become a key development direction. Guangxi has promoted the coordinated development of 10 research and education bases and 4 industrial tourism demonstration sites, creating immersive cultural experience scenarios. At the policy level, the government has introduced measures to support the development of formats such as Ceramics & Glass artist districts and Ceramics & Glass-themed hotels, building a "Ceramics & Glass+" ecosystem. Meanwhile, the "Internet+" model continues to gain momentum, with new sales channels such as e-commerce platforms and live-streaming commerce expanding continuously. By 2025, online sales accounted for 40% of the total sales in the daily-use ceramics market, establishing it as a significant sales channel. Industry experts note that cross-border integration is reshaping the value chain of the daily-use ceramics industry. With increasing policy support and enhanced innovation vitality among enterprises, the industry is poised to embrace broader development prospects in the future.
